Maritime Skills Academy Training

Travel and Tourism students took the plunge during a Maritime Safety Training session with Viking Maritime. 

They were taught real-life safety techniques and mastered survival skills in the water, whilst working with life rafts and jumping from height.

Designed for students aged 16–19, a T Level combines 80% classroom-based learning with 20% work placement experience, with an exciting local employer.

By the time you complete a T Level, you will understand business in theory, but also have experienced it first-hand, leaving you well prepared for university, higher-level apprenticeships or skilled employment.

You can make up to five applications across East Kent Colleges Group’s family of Colleges.

Step 2 – Apply

Click ‘Apply’ on your chosen course, and follow the steps on the application portal.

Early applications are strongly recommended, as they give you the best chance of securing a place on your chosen course.

Step 3 – Come to an applicant day

Come along to EKC Canterbury College to meet our team, explore our facilities and see if the course is right for you.

If you receive an offer, this must be accepted to secure your place on your chosen course.
