This course is ideal if you want to specialise as a dancer. You will develop your technical ability in a variety of dance styles and mature as a choreographer.
Train in a nurturing environment that sharpens technique, expands knowledge, and develops performance skills in our in-house theatre.
You’ll work in our industry-standard dance studios and be taught by dancers, and other professionals, who have worked in the industry.
This course is suitable for students who have completed the Level 2 qualification or have an impressive portfolio of work. You should also have achieved a 4/C grade in English and Maths.

Course information
On this course, you’ll build your skills as a dancer through a mixture of practical and creative projects. You will also explore what a future career in performing arts industry could look like.
We offer training in all disciplines, including:
• Jazz
• Contemporary
• Commercial/Hip Hop
• Ballet.
You will also be encouraged to choreograph and lead other dancers.
These disciplines will serve as a basis for creating captivating dance performances, which you will have the chance to showcase in front of live audiences, both in our onsite theatre, and within the wider community.
Alongside your studies, you’ll complete a tailored work experience placement with a leading industry specialist. Our dedicated Industry Liaison Officers will match you with a placement that supports your interests and career goals, with many students going on to secure paid work as a result.
