Level 2 Diploma in Music Production

Assessment takes place through practical sessions, written assignments and group work to demonstrate your professional abilities. A portfolio of work over the two years is also created to aid assessment and your future.

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start in an entry-level position in the music industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 3 qualification, or an Apprenticeship.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities are supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who finds opportunities that are right for you. These give you key experiences ready for your future.

Throughout your studies, you will also take part in a variety on internal and external events, such as taking part in local music festivals and working behind the scenes for our community during Students’ Union gigs and concerts.

We also benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference locally.
