Level 2 Diploma in Catering

Assessment takes place through practical sessions, to demonstrate your professional abilities. There are also theory tests for each unit.

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start in an entry-level position in the catering industry. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 3 qualification, or an Apprenticeship.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find opportunities that are right for you. These will give you key experiences and will support your college learning.

Throughout your studies, you will also take part in a variety on internal and external events, catering for staff, students and our local community.

We also benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference locally.
