Learning for Life

Course overview

Our ‘Learning for Life’ courses enable students to develop their independent living skills, to prepare them for adulthood and later life.

The curriculum focuses on building practical skills needed for everyday living, including personal care, home safety, shopping, cooking, travel training, health and wellbeing.

All students benefit from specialist facilities, including a realistic flat environment where they can practise daily living tasks in a safe, supportive setting.

There is also the opportunity to take part in work experience placements, either within the College or in the local community.

Learning is tailored to each individual, with personalised targets set and reviewed every term to monitor progress and support ongoing development across all areas.
