Course overview

A Level Politics is a two-year course that builds your understanding of UK and US politics and current affairs.

You will explore how governments make decisions, compare political systems in the UK and USA, and develop the confidence to debate and challenge ideas.



The course also introduces key political ideologies such as feminism, environmentalism and anarchism, while strengthening your analysis, evaluation and communication skills.

Ideal for students interested in careers in politics, law, journalism or public services, as well as further study at university.
