Level 2 Diploma in Leading Community Activity

Assessment takes place during practical sessions, presentations and
observations and written assignments.

Once you finish your course, you will be ready to start in an entry-level
position in a range of roles in Sport.

You can also go onto further study in this area, such as our Level 3 courses,
or an Apprenticeship.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities are supported by our Industry Liaison
Officer, who finds placements that will suit you and your skillset.

Throughout your studies, you will also take part in a variety of trips and
activities, including leading community activities with all ages, at College and
external facilities.

We benefit our community by taking part in social action projects which help
with development and skill progression, as well as making a difference
locally.

As English and Maths are a key part of the course, you can learn these to
GCSE or Functional Skills level alongside your studies.

You may be required to pay for a practical sports kit to be used during this
course. Additional details and full costs can be discussed at interview.

Due to the nature of our Sports course, we run a one-day applicant day
which all applicants must attend. The applicant day will test your suitability
for the course against aspects of the sports industry and give you an insight
into student life.

After successfully completing the applicant day, you
will be invited to enrol.
