Level 1 Employability Skills

Students will create a portfolio of evidence to support their progress throughout the course. Maths and English are exam-based assessments.

This course can lead to students progressing into the vocational College curriculum in several departments, through a two-year Level 2 course.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

Alongside the work experience placement, students can gain skills by taking part in our Community Weeks. These are opportunities where we work with local charities and organisations to help and support our local community.

We also run trips and events throughout the year at EKC Canterbury College, which students on our Foundation and Inclusive Learning courses can be a part of.

There are no formal qualifications required, but there will be an interview and assessment process to ensure suitability.
