On this course, you’ll build on your pre-existing skills and knowledge as a mechanic. You will continue to explore what a future career in the automotive sector could look like. Mastering the skills of diagnosing faults and fixing common mechanical issues.
This practical course is designed to prepare you for a professional automotive environment. You’ll train in our purpose-built garage, working on real cars using professional-grade tools and equipment, such as vehicle lifts, Snap-On and Milwaukee tools and OBD scanners.
You’ll be supported throughout the course by expert tutors, who have previously worked in the industry. They will guide you through both the theory and practical elements of the programme. Throughout this course, will build on your knowledge from the Level 2 qualification, learning how to analyse and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults as well as, complete inspections and fix faults on vehicle systems.
