City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy

All assessments are designed to showcase your practical skills and to ensure you’re ready for your next steps in the beauty industry.

You’ll mainly be assessed with practical observations in our commercial salons, alongside written tasks and exams that check your understanding of professional techniques.

Throughout the course, you’ll also build a portfolio of your work, giving you a visual record of your progress and achievements that you can use for future opportunities.

By building the ability to create polished, high-quality looks, you’ll be ready for a range of opportunities in today’s job market.

Job roles progressed into include beauty therapists, product develops or spa technicians.

You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 4 qualification or several university degrees, where you will further enhance your skills.

Beauty students elevate their skills during professional wedding photoshoots at Winters Barns, working alongside dress designers, jewellers and florists to create stunning bridal looks.

By getting involved in events and working with local partners, you’ll begin to discover which area of the beauty industry suits your interests and strengths.

You’ll also be further prepared for your next steps by taking part in social action projects across the campus during Community Weeks. Not only do these boost your personal growth, but you’ll also give back and impact Canterbury for the better.
