Level 3 Extended Diploma in Games Design

Presentations, written assignments, group projects and practical production work will be assessed throughout the year and graded against each unit criteria.

You will be set a final major project at the end of the course, which will be externally moderated to determine your final grade.

Progress to higher education at a range of universities and prestigious media schools across the country and the world.

You could also go onto a specialised apprenticeship or start your professional career in several roles, with your highly sought after skills.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

We host an annual games festival, BitCrush, which raises money for a local charity as well as helps develop your key media skills.

There are also a variety of trips and expert talks, where you will meet people from the industry who can help you grow your skillset and your network.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find additional opportunities that are right for you.

Media Facilities include our Mac Computer Suites, a Photography studio and an industry standard recording studio. All these facilities are available for you to use anytime during your studies.
