UAL Level 2 Diploma in Art, Design and Textiles

You will build a portfolio of your work and submit sketchbooks for each assignment, which will be graded by external assessors against your unit criteria.

Upon successful completion, go onto further study or progress to a Level 3 course. You can also start your career in the Art industry across a range of specialisms.

There are no fees for this course if you are under 18.

We organise community art projects and events which help make a difference locally and nationally and grow your potential. This includes our annual end of year art show, which is held in the city centre of Canterbury.

There are a variety of trips including museum visits, art exhibitions and artist talks which take place around the Kent and London area. Here you will meet other local artists and grow your network for the future.

Dedicated Work Experience opportunities will be supported by our Industry Liaison Officer, who will find opportunities that are right for you.

Students will be required to purchase an art pack, or the materials which come included in the pack. Prices vary and this can be discussed during interview.

You must also be prepared to undertake some additional independent study, due to the nature of the units and projects.
