Film & TV Production Extended Diploma Level 3

This course develops your practical media skills, with a focus on the moving image. You will develop your video, audio, animation and multimedia production skills using high-quality, industry standard equipment. You'll produce your own short film, make experimental videos, produce animations, create corporate videos and documentaries, and work with real clients. This qualification will form the main part of your Canterbury College study programme. Our study programmes combine your main qualification and work experience.

What will I learn?

You will: produce of your own short film; make experimental videos; produce animations; create corporate videos; make documentaries; create sound for the moving image; practice photography; learn about marketing & public relations; and work with real clients.

How will I be assessed?

You will be continually assessed with practical and written assessments, group projects and production work. All units you study are graded, a final major project will determine your final grade for the qualification.

What may it lead to?

This qualification will allow you to progress to a Media qualification at Higher Education (degree-level), or to pursue a career in film or TV.

4 Cs or 4s including English and maths.
