Student Information Centre Statement of Service

The Student Information Centre is located at the main entrance of the College. The Centre provides an informal and welcoming atmosphere to all students and visitors.

Staff in the Centre can help you explore progression opportunities. If you would like a course advice session, which will be impartial, confidential and free, please contact the Centre on 01227 811188 or e-mail courseenquiries@cant-col.ac.uk.

The Student Information Centre is open 8.45 - 7 Monday to Thursday and Friday 10 - 4.30. During holiday periods we are open 8.45 - 5.15 except Friday 10 - 4.30

Financial Assistance

Eligible students may be able to claim an Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) or Adult Learning Grant (ALG) of up to £30 a week to help with the costs of learning. For further information and application forms please contact the EMA or ALG team in the Student Information Centre.

The Learner Support Fund assists students on benefits or with a low income with funding towards travel, levies, childcare, books, essential equipment and essential fieldtrips. For further information and application forms please contact the LSF team in the Student Information Centre.

Open Days

Canterbury College has Open Days in Spring, Summer and Autumn. If you cannot attend these events and would like to visit the College we may be able to arrange a tour of the College.
