Connexions Guidance Adviser (Careers)
Julian Hodges is a Connexions Guidance Adviser available to provide Careers and Progression advice for young people from 16- 19 yrs. Students can see Julian between 9am-12noon on Wednesdays in the Student Information Centre for one to one interviews, or in the LRC Drop-In on Wednesdays 12noon - 1.30pm. Personal Adviser (Welfare)
Kay O’Connell is a Personal Adviser available to work with young people who require support for personal issues.
Disability Advice
If you are disabled and require any information or advice on any aspect of being at college including support with learning and access or you just need someone to talk to, contact the Disability Adviser on 01227 811188, email Disability Advisor or drop-in. The Disability Adviser also liaises with other departments to ensure your additional needs are met, arranges personal evacuation plans, provides information on the Disability Policy and has information about external organisations.

Every service offered in the Student Information Centre is free of charge, impartial, confidential and open to everyone. Information will only be passed on to other agencies with your agreement.
UCAS
Student Guide to UCAS Application
For Higher Education courses including those at Canterbury College you will need to apply through UCAS. Applications need to be completed online. The UCAS website explains in more detail how to apply. If you need further assistance please come to the SIC.
