An introduction to engineering, this course will prepare you for study at Higher Education Level within the UK. You will undertake an interdisciplinary engineering programme covering Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Aided Design and Product Design. The programme will contain a mix of practical skills and academic development. The delivery will be both classroom and workshop based.The course also includes study skills, to help you adapt to UK study styles and also English language tuition to ensure that your ability is suitable for undergraduate study. This pre-sessional course will prepare you for general academic study at level 5.

English level equivalent to IELTS 5.0 (across all bands) if English is not the first language and English certificate must be provided to satisfy UK Border Agency requirements. Upon successful completion of the programme students will be given the opportunity to undertake a Foundation Degree at Canterbury College from four distinct engineering and design areas: FD Electrical and Electronic Engineering FD Mechanical Engineering FD Computer Aided Design and 3D Engineering FD Product Design Alternatively you may wish to apply for a place at a UK University through UCAS.
