Health & Social Care Intermediate Level Apprenticeship - Level 2
As an apprentice in Health and Social Care, you could be a personal care assistant helping someone in their everyday life. The Diploma in H&SC level 2 are for people employed working in a variety of social care roles and supporting people either in their own homes, supported living, day centres, residential or nursing homes, hospices and hospitals.
What will I learn?
Learn the theory at college and the practical skills in the Work place. You will gain the skills to necessary to assist in helping people with a particular need, such as the disabled or the elderly. This type of care usually takes place in the home or in care homes, and can include anything from helping people get dressed to transporting them to and from a residential home. The intermediate Apprenticeship in H&SC is built up of the following qualifications; Diploma in H&SC level 2, employer rights and responsibilities Level 2 and the key skills in English and Maths at Level 1.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment: is through development of a portfolio of evidence which ranges from assessor and expert witness work based observations, assignments and reflective accounts.

Advanced Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care
Entry Requirements:
Grades at least D in English/Maths or Functional Skills
