Counselling Skills ABC Certificate - Level 3
A nationally recognised qualification for people who need to use counselling skills in another context e.g. nurses, teachers, social workers, probation officers, classroom assistants, home carers etc. It is also necessary for people training to be counsellors. Completion of the Certificate in Counselling Concepts is essential.
What will I learn?
This course helps students to work with the use of counselling skills in an existing workplace role. It is also part of the route towards becoming a professional counsellor. This course comprises of four units: Creating a Counselling Skills Professional Framework, An Introduction to Counselling Theory, Basic Counselling Skills, Personal Development and Growth
How will I be assessed?
Assessment will be made through: weekly journal and written assessments at each unit.
What may it lead to?
Progression is onto ABC Level 4 Diploma in Counselling.

All of our courses require an interview, to ensure that you understand the nature of the courses and that you are applying at the correct level and ensure that you are personally ready for the often-demanding process of counselling training.
