Health and Social Care BTEC Subsidiary Diploma - Level 3
This is essentially an access course to the Health and Social Care courses. Students are able to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma when they demonstrate appropriate academic ability.
What will I learn?
Year 1 covers: effective communication, equality and diversity, health and safety, lifespan, anatomy and physiology, personal and professional development.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by assignment only; there are no examinations to be taken.
What may it lead to?
Students are able to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma.
Entry Requirements:
4 Cs at GCSE including English; or a Distinction* in a BTEC Level 2 Diploma with functional skills English, a successful interview; a good reference, and CRB Check.
