Graphic Design - Level 2


Progressing from Level 1 or starting at Level 2, you will explore a range of graphic design techniques and will be taught by professionals from industry with experience working in the Victoria & Albert Museum, Paperchase and KMFM.


What will I learn?

In this course you will learn about the secrets of typography, the magic of illustration and understand the power of the multimedia industry.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a programme of creative assignments, one to one tutorials, group critical discussions and self-evaluation.

What may it lead to?

BTEC Level 3 Diplomas in Art or Graphic Design or equivalent. Some students go straight into employment in areas such as graphic design and advertising, museum or gallery work.

Entry Requirements:

2 GCSEs at D (preferably English & Art) plus a portfolio of observational drawings & artwork.
