Our Student Information Centre provides a range of free, fair and confidential services for students, staff and the public. They are here to help you make choices which are right for you.

The Student Information Centre holds the Matrix Quality Standard for information, advice and guidance and has also been awarded a Beacon Award for Student Support

Although Canterbury College will no longer offer A levels, our industry-recognised vocational courses still provide many routes for our students to go on to university or go into a job. Alternatively, please consult the UCAS Progress website for further options here.

KCC 16+ Travel Card
Information about KCC’s 16+ bus travel scheme for Further Education students can be found here
Applications for KCC 16+ Travel Cards should be made directly to Canterbury College Funding Team. Please include a passport sized photo and a cheque for £400 payable to Canterbury College with your application. On receipt we will forward your application to KCC for processing.
If the costs of travel are a concern, you may be eligible for support through College Learning Allowance. Contact the Funding Team for more information
College Learning Allowance (CLA)

16-19 Guaranteed Bursary
You may be eligible for a Guaranteed Bursary of up to £1,200 if you're not 19 until 1st August 2017 and you meet one of the following criteria:
- in care
- a care leaver
- in receipt of Income Support/Universal Credit
- in receipt of Employment Support Allowance/Universal Credit and Disability Living Allowance/Personal Independence Payments
