Business and Administration Apprenticeship Level 2
An apprenticeship is a real job with training so learners can earn while they learn and achieve nationally recognised qualifications. This course is for people employed in an administration role within a business environment.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to make and receive telephone calls, help with the organisation of meetings and events, deal with travel requests and handle incoming and outgoing mail. You will also learn how to keep records and use electronic message systems and office equipment.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed in the workplace by your assessor. You will also complete written work at college which is assessed by your college tutor. All of the assessments will be stored in your electronic portfolio.
What may it lead to?
If you successfully complete the Level 2 Apprenticeship you could progress onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Customer Service or Business Administration.
You must be employed in an Administrative role. You must normally have GCSEs at grade C and above in maths and English or the equivalent Functional Skills. Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16 or over whether you are just leaving school or seeking to start a new career.

This course has various start dates throughout the year. If you are already employed as an administrator, receptionist or business advisor then you have the opportunity to gain an Intermediate apprenticeship in business and administration.
