Job Description:

You will be joining a team of Building Services Staff consisting of Electrical, Plumbing & Building Services Lecturers and support staff.

An enthusiastic and motivated Building Services Lecturer is required to deliver practical and theoretical aspects of Building Services courses. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to contribute to a successful and ambitious team with a desire to passing on their skills and knowledge.

You will need to demonstrate and be qualified in Electrical installation to level 3.

Job Description:

With the current growth in the construction industry, the Construction Crafts Department are looking for an Assessor for Brick Occupations to carry on-site assessments for apprentices up to level 3. A good working knowledge of industry Health and Safety legislation and the ability to communicate well with students and staff is essential. The successful applicant will also be a qualified assessor for brickwork up to level 3, have a full driving license and their own transport.

Construction Workshop Assistant

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a full time workshop assistant to support the growing Swale Construction department that currently has 11 courses and over 130 students. We are looking for an enthusiastic new member of staff that is committed to improving quality and enforcing industrial standards to learners completing their vocational study programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering and organising resources for practical tasks within the Swale Construction department, supporting students one to one during practical lessons in wood, multi trade and bricklaying. Student tracking including the formulation of phone calls and letters. Health and safety representative for the construction department responsible for enforcing health and safety regulation with learners–PPE  

Experience in multi trade, bricklaying and carpentry activities, a qualification in one or more would be desirable.

The successful applicant will be an expert in their field and proactive with excellent communication skills as well as being able to demonstrate an ability to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment in this curriculum area.  Candidates ideally will hold suitable Assessing qualifications and have experience in the vocational sector.
