Job Description:

An enthusiastic and motivated individual is required to work within the Construction Department. Principle responsibilities would be to plan the curriculum to meet the needs of the student and the examining/validating body in liaison with the Head of Department. To motivate, encourage and monitor students to ensure that they achieve their full potential and maximise their career opportunities from the qualifications they gain whilst at Canterbury College.

Job Description:

An enthusiastic and motivated person is required to join an ambitious team within the Motor Vehicle Section at Canterbury College. This position will ideally suit those who enjoy working with young people, are able to maintain very high standards in teaching and learning and wish to contribute to a team motivated to be successful.

To deliver outstanding lessons to students whose levels range from E3 through to Level 3. The successful candidate will be required to act as a Course Tutor, having responsibility for the successful completion of every learner and inspire each to reach their full potential.

Ideally the successful candidate would be qualified to a minimum of level 3 across the Motor Vehicle and Motorsport spectrum. High standards and an ability to nurture students to gain suitable employability skills are essential.

With the current growth in the construction industry, the Construction Crafts Department are looking for an Assessor for Brick Occupations to carry on-site assessments for apprentices up to level 3. A good working knowledge of industry Health and Safety legislation and the ability to communicate well with students and staff is essential. The successful applicant will also be a qualified assessor for brickwork up to level 3, have a full driving license and their own transport.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organised individual who can enhance, support and maintain the workshop facilities in our Motor Vehicle Section.

Working closely with the Motor Vehicle team, you will have the technical ability and knowledge to support practical activities in our workshop and lab environments.

Instilling and upholding strong Health & Safety standards in the workshops will be a key responsibility, as will purchase of resources and materials within budget. Job Description:

Exciting new opportunities available in our Media and Communication department to teach on a wide range of courses including, level 1, 2 and 3 UAL Creative Media courses. 

We require a lecturer with extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of Digital Design, Interactive Media and Games Development theories, and skills in wed design, 3D Design (3D Studio Max), Unreal Engine, InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. The role will involve designing the courses, planning lessons and producing schemes of work. You will be required to teach, monitor and assess students within specified courses and related programmes up to and including Level 3.
Successful candidate will need to be in possession of a relevant degree and knowledge of Media theory and practice. The candidate also needs to have or be prepared to work towards a teaching qualification.
