Welcome back to the Beretun Restaurant and Cafe. Our Beretun Restaurant offers silver service in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.
With its informal bar area it is the ideal venue to meet up with friends, family or colleagues before enjoying a delicious three course meal.
Run by the Hospitality Department the restaurant enables Hospitality students to gain invaluable experience through working in the kitchen and waiting on customers.
Open Hours and Specials for 2012/2013
The opening times in the restaurant are:
- Tuesday to Friday we are open 12.00pm – 13.00pm for our Brasserie Lunch
- Friday we are open 08.30am – 10.30am for Cafe Breakfast
- Tuesday and Thursday the Beretun opens at 18.00 to be seated for 18.30 for Formal Dining Service
Prices
- Lunch - Prices start at £2.00 for starters and £4.00 for main meals.
- Evenings - Prices on request starting at £15.00
We run special event evenings throughout the year as detailed in the table below.
Our formal dining service is made by reservation only and the meals are prepared on Tuesday by our Second Year professional Chefs and served by the Professional Catering Students. On Thursday the meals are prepared by the Third Year Professional Chefs and serviced by our Professional Catering Students.
Parties and events are welcome and the maximum booking we can take is for 30 diners. We ask that for bookings for over 10 the meals are pre-ordered and we ask for a nominal deposit of £5 per person.
