The Computing section has highly qualified staff. the courses are practical-based and designed to provide students with the required skills to follow various job opportunities in Computing and IT.
Students spend time in the Computer Workshop participating in practical assessments and this year three students won gold medals in the UK World Skills finals. We have close links with University of Kent and many of our students progress into Higher Education on either degree or HND courses.

Where are they now?
Peter Griggs studied our BTEC National Diploma in Computing and achieved highly commended’ in the Network Management section of the UK World Skills finals. He is presently employed at Canterbury College in a Network Management role.
