Sandra Langley: Section Manager
My name is Sandra Langley and I am the Section Manager for the Early Years Department. I have been at Canterbury College for over eight years and in my career I have worked with children in nursery and school settings and students in further and secondary education from 14 to 65 years of age.

Placements
All Level 2 and Level 3 students attend placements for two days per week in a nursery or school local to where they live. Some examples of the placement locations:
- Bridge House Nursery, Ashford School ,East Hill, Ashford
- St Faith’s at Ash, The Street, Ash
- Apples Nursery, Saga Pavilion, Enbrook Park, Sandgate, Folkestone
- Blean Primary School, Whitstable Road, Blean
- Luddenham School, Luddenham, Faversham
- Hempstead Infant School, Hempstead Road, Gillingham
Progression
We have 12 students with secured university places and 23 working in nurseries or schools, with half of these progressing to Foundation Degrees as they work. Read more on Career Progression.
