Canterbury College operates in compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The College has produced a Publication Scheme which describes the types of information available to the public on request and any fees associated with providing copies (where this is applicable).

All requests should clearly state what information is actually required and provide details of the person(s) or organisation requiring the information. The College will respond to any requests with an acknowledgement which will include an estimated timeframe for providing the information. If Canterbury College does not have the information, we will endeavour to clarify where you can get it from. In any event, provision of information (when available) should occur within 20 working days from receipt of the originator’s request.

Certain information may not be supplied by the College, such as information that violates the Data Protection Act. Full guidance on what types of information you can generally obtain from public bodies is available from the Information Commissioner’s Office website
