Got The Music in You?

Students at Canterbury College are helping to kick start the summer music festival season with an all-day event in the City.

Got the Music in You? is taking place in Dane John Gardens in Canterbury on Sunday 22^nd May.

The free event has been design to support local musicians and will include a range of bands and DJ’s with music ranging from Folk, Rock n Roll and Jazz, to Dance and House.

The 2^nd Year HND music students who have arranged the event will also be performing during the day and promise that there will be something for everyone.

James Baxter, who’s from Canterbury and one of the students who has helped arrange the event, said: “It’s been a lot of hard work to organise the event but we’re really pleased to have some great bands and DJ’s in the line-up. The day will be really family friendly with activities for children also taking place.”

Got the Music in You? starts at 12noon and finishes at 7pm.
