Mark Hill, Director of Business and Associated Services at Canterbury College said: “This was the first time that the College has had a presence in Whitefriars Square and it was a brilliant experience for us. We have a commitment to the people of Canterbury to provide training opportunities and courses that will help create tomorrow’s local workforce. It was fantastic to see so many people interested in the Apprenticeship opportunities we have available.”

Apprenticeship Week, which is an annual event, is run by the National Apprenticeship Service which was created in 2008 to increase the number of apprenticeship opportunities.

Not only do apprenticeships benefit individuals and businesses, but also the economy by boosting productivity and staff retention.
