A BOC Welding competition is being held here on 28th May.
The BOC Apprentice Welding competition is open to all apprentices who are following a recognised national qualification. The competition is divided into a series of craft challenges, full details are available from the competition website.
The aims of the Apprentice Welding Competition are:
- To give apprentice and trainee welders the experience of participating
in an annual competition as part of their education - To reinforce the importance of craft practice
- To take into account regional welding skill requirements within the
home countries - To coordinate welding practice activities with other Governmental and
award body activities - To provide a route for apprentices and trainees into the national
SkillWeld competition.
