Freedom of Information Act 2000 – Canterbury College Policy Statement
Canterbury College operates in compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. To this end the College has produced a Publication Scheme. This describes the types of information available to the public on request and any fees associated with providing copies where this is applicable.

All requests should state clearly what information is actually required and provide details of the person(s) or organisation requiring the information. The College will respond to any requests with an acknowledgement which will include the estimated time frame for providing the information. If the information is not available from the College we will endeavour to clarify from where you can get the information. In any event provision of information when available should occur within up to 20 working days from receipt of the originator’s request.
Certain information may not be supplied by the College such as where this violates the Data Protection Act. Full guidance on what types of information you can generally obtain from public bodies is available at the Information Commissioner’s Office website www.ico.gov.uk.
